Cooper comes from a long line of working farm/ranch border collies. A couple of those dogs have participated in trials and won belt buckles and trophies. Cooper is a well mannered dog that is very biddable. Anyone could take him and work him. He is a high drive dog when it comes to working stock. He also has that same high toy drive. Cooper is very social unless there are toys in the mix. If he sees the toy he will want to play. When working stock Cooper has a correct, clean head bite. Cooper has worked cattle, sheep and goats. Heel bites are not his strong suit but as his stock work progresses he improves his heel bite.
Cooper does well in the household and can calmly hang around family and friends. Cooper is neutral around all dogs, cats and people including children. Cooper is welcoming to other dogs to play with them and share toys. Cooper overall is an excellent example of how a border collie should be. He is biddable, sound, well-mixed, affectionate and is an excellent working partner for day to day jobs.
Cooper currently has seven litters on the ground. Most of his puppies have made their way to working homes, but there are a couple that are turning into sport dogs. Some notable people that own his puppies are High Definition Stockdogs and High N Lead Stockdogs. We are excited to see what he produces and as I get updates I will correct the website!
